INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Quality Care
I value the therapeutic relationship and firmly believe in building a space where individuals will feel safe sharing their thoughts and feelings. My approach is empathic and relational, so the first few sessions are focused on building rapport and trust. Sessions are more conversational and less clinical. However, I take physical and emotional safety very seriously and, if necessary, safety planning will be completed as soon as a risk is found and subsequently reviewed. I incorporate check-in sessions throughout treatment so that both the client and I can assess progress, what is and is not working, and how to best proceed with sessions. I like to meet clients where they are, no matter which step they are navigating in their journey to change. I strive to assist clients with understanding how to best utilize their strengths so that they may move forward and flourish.
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL (ESA) LETTERS
Specialized & Concise
Managing mental or emotional health challenges can be tough, but an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) can make a world of difference. While ESAs aren't quite the same as trained service animals, their comforting presence plays a vital role in helping you navigate daily life. Because they are so important to your well-being, state and federal laws give them special legal protections. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am qualified to evaluate you and provide a letter confirming that your animal is part of your treatment plan. This letter gives you the right under the Fair Housing Act to live together—even in "no-pet" housing—and exempts you from extra pet rent or deposits. Your privacy matters, so your specific diagnosis stays completely confidential.
I offer a flat fee for an evaluation and letter. Discounts are offered for additional pets and renewal of your ESA letter.
IMMIGRATION EVALUATIONS
Professional & Thorough
I have over 15 years of experience in clinical evaluations and assessments. I can provide immigration evaluations for Asylum, Hardship, Cancellation of Removal, T Visa, U Visa, and VAWA cases. My practice includes working with individuals with mental disorders, developmental disabilities, crisis intervention, interpersonal conflicts, substance abuse, and childhood abuse/neglect. I specialize in anxiety, depression, domestic violence, trauma, child abuse, and issues around child welfare. Immigration Evaluations are not covered by insurance. Payment plans are available.
